Full / Part Time or Contracting
Occupational Therapy

Employment and contracting opportunities available

Do you want to contribute to a purpose-driven organisation and play a vital part in enabling NDIS, My Aged Care and DVA participants to develop greater independence and work towards reaching their individualised goals?

Are you ready to invest in your clinical growth, career development and the kind of OT practice you can be proud to be a part of?

Occupational Therapy Services Group is currently exploring opportunities for Occupational Therapists to support our growing services across South West WA and the Wheatbelt. We are open to discussing full-time, part-time or contracting arrangements, depending on your location, experience, availability and areas of interest.

Who are we?

We are an OT-owned and led organisation supporting individuals experiencing disability and age-related changes to engage in active, safe and independent living.

We make a difference through program and service provision within the community. As part of the Occupational Therapy Services Group team, you have the opportunity to influence, empower and collaborate alongside individuals, families and communities to support and advocate for positive change.

Our team provides services across the Perth metropolitan area, South West WA and the Wheatbelt, with an established focus on community based occupational therapy, assistive technology, home modifications, driving services and aged care supports.

Your Impact

As an Occupational Therapist supporting our regional services, you will work with participants in their home, community or local clinic environment, assisting them to reach their full potential.

You will provide quality occupational therapy interventions to support individualised therapy programs, functional goals and participation outcomes. Depending on your experience and interests, this may include working with NDIS participants, My Aged Care clients, DVA clients and other community based programs.

Our therapy team is well known for the high-quality service, experience and individualised care they provide. The team has a wide range of backgrounds and experience, all brought together by the common goal and passion for achieving best outcomes for our clients.

Support Provided

Our team is very experienced across the varying services we provide and are invested in supporting your career development.

We have an established Career Support Pathway in place to guide you to excel in your role, with opportunities to grow into future specialty areas. Whilst this support program is structured, we have maintained flexibility so that it can be individualised by need, region, experience level and areas of interest.

For regional team members and contractors, we understand the importance of accessible supervision, peer connection and clinical guidance. You will have access to experienced occupational therapists, structured supervision, clinical resources, digital systems and support from our broader team.

Ultimately, our organisation is owned and led by therapists who are invested in the services provided, and therefore we are invested in supporting and developing the therapists in our team. Our focus is on clinical outcomes and development over KPIs, and so we are focused on developing long-term relationships with our service users and therapists.

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated Occupational Therapist who is interested in supporting clients across South West WA and/or the Wheatbelt.

You would describe yourself as compassionate, dedicated and caring, with the ability to build strong rapport with clients of all abilities. You are adept at communicating and work successfully with individuals, families, support networks and stakeholders to implement and review therapy plans.

You apply an innovative approach to problem solving and are comfortable working in community-based environments. You are an organised individual who can handle complexity, regional service delivery considerations and multiple priorities.

You may be an experienced clinician looking for flexibility, a regional OT seeking stronger clinical support, or an OT interested in contracting opportunities while remaining connected to a larger OT-specific team.

What we offer

Wouldn’t you like to work in an environment that is supportive and genuinely welcomes diversity? When you join Occupational Therapy Services Group, you join our Occupational Therapy Services Group work family.

We have a range of benefits to support you and the essential things to ensure you have balance outside of work.

Family Support
Our team has flexible working arrangements in place to support and encourage a healthy work-life balance. For regional roles, we are open to discussing flexible arrangements that work for both you and the communities we support.

Professional Development
We encourage your ongoing development with individualised plans driven by you, for you. We encourage you to identify training, projects, events and courses to support you in your role and continued growth. We provide each employed therapist with a CPD budget and membership to OT Australia.

Community Support
Not only will you be making a difference in community participation outcomes, but you will also have opportunities to support other charities and community initiatives that support positive community outcomes.

Wellbeing
We have a range of wellbeing activities for you to join in on, office pets, numerous morning teas and regular team-building events coordinated by our team. We love trying new ideas that support our team. You will also have access to an EAP and other external supports when required.

State of the art resources
We have worked hard to ensure our team has access to state-of-the-art resources, training facilities and smart digital tools. Our Solutions Centre is designed to support the work that you are doing and provides opportunities for training and hands-on practice to keep your skills current.

We also invest in smart digital tools to help you work efficiently, including a recent rollout of a client-centred AI platform which streamlines indirect work, reduces the admin load and gives you more time in your day to focus on what matters most: client care.

Financial
Working for Occupational Therapy Services Group means receiving competitive remuneration, a mileage allowance, access to a commission scheme once your caseload is established, and flexibility depending on your employment or contracting arrangement.

For contracting opportunities, we are open to discussing arrangements that reflect the nature of regional service delivery, travel, availability and scope of work.

Career Development
Our organisation has remained OT specific, which means we have established specialty services and offer opportunities to work alongside OTs working in advanced areas of practice. These OTs are experienced in their field and can support you to adopt a specialty occupational therapy role if desired.

There is opportunity to develop skills across areas such as Assistive Technology, Home Modifications, Driving Services, Complex Home Modifications, aged care and disability-related supports.

Equipment & Flexibility
We provide therapists with comprehensive resources to support efficiency in the home, community and workplace. We also provide options to work from home, access hybrid supports where suitable, and structure service delivery in a way that works for regional practice.
